Make a difference when you stop by McCray’s Tavern July 5 through August 21 for a cocktail and a bite to eat! All proceeds from sales of our Iris Paloma purple grapefruit cocktail will be donated to the Epilepsy Foundation of Georgia, an organization which works to raise awareness and support Georgians living with epilepsy and other seizure disorders.
This is part of the McCray’s Tavern family tradition that now spans 10 years. In that time, McCray’s has raised over $110,000 for the foundation in honor of the son of restaurant co-owner Scott McCray, who suffers from seizures.
The dates of the cocktail special coincides with the 38th annual Magnolia Run for Epilepsy, which is being held in Sandy Springs at 4 Concourse Parkway NE. Runners and walkers are welcome to register, with fees being set at $25 for walkers and $35 for runners, through August 17. Fees will increase on August 18.
The event went virtual in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, but is back in person this year and better than ever. Incentives for donations include t-shirts and a corporate match. For more information about the event, contact the Magnolia Run organizers at 404-527-7155, and don’t forget to stop by our Midtown Atlanta location through August 21 for an Iris Paloma cocktail! We can’t wait to see you there, and we appreciate your support each and every year.
