Every year the Atlanta Botanical Gardens puts on quite a show during their Garden Lights, Holiday Nights event. Visitors of all ages come from across the metro-Atlanta area to enjoy extravagant Christmas light displays, creative art exhibits, and an amazing collection of plants from around the world. More than 2 billion LED lights bring a magical glow to Midtown, with enchanting paths and perfectly choreographed musical light displays. Explore the model train, grab a selfie in the Glowing Grove Tunnel, and get lost in the hanging lights in Nature's Wonders. This is one local Christmas light show you won't want to miss!

Catch a Christmas Show

Christmas is the perfect time of year to enjoy one of Atlanta's best holiday traditions: A Christmas Carol at the Alliance Theater! They've been delighting guests of all ages for 32 years with the tale of Mr. Scrooge, but even longtime fans can expect something new this year. Set designs and costumes have been completely reimagined for a brand-new performance. Live music, stunning costumes, and an all-star cast transport audience members to the cold streets of London for this timeless holiday story. Tickets are available now online.

Skate the Station

This season, make magical memories and head over to the largest outdoor ice skating rink in Atlanta. Skate beneath the open stars and enjoy unforgettable skyscraper views at Atlantic Station's Skate the Station event. Open through January 17, 2022, there's plenty of time to make plans.
